After spending his adult life in the Cheese business, Luke (the baker) decided to move his family from London to rural Suffolk and take his secret family brownie recipe and bring it to the masses. Charlotte comes from a media background and has put her skills to good use within the sales and marketing area of the business.

Luke: I love the creativity it presents for me. I'm happiest when I'm in the kitchen coming up with new recipes and flavours. It's also wonderful to work together and to have a business that works for us as a family.
What's your favourite thing about Brownie and the Bean®?
Charlotte: We love connecting people through food. We care so much about every parcel we send out and get really excited about knowing that the person at the other end is going to get a really lovely surprise.
What flavour are you most looking forward to launching in 2021?Luke: I'm particularly excited about the Toffee Apple Blondie which is something I worked on at the start of the year but tastes so autumnal.
Charlotte: I cannot wait for the S'mores Brownie to be released later on this year! I'm a massive fan of marshmallows and the textures and flavour combinations of this brownie are incredible!
