Eek guys, it’s been a super difficult week juggling the day-to-day chaos. I’m currently battling the usual mad, end-of-term rush to get all of our Christmas stuff up and running. To top it all off, my big interview for the EVA awards entry happens next week.

We have to deliver a presentation, and you all know exactly how I feel about them. They honestly make me feel like I am about to vomit. I really struggle with presentations and public speaking. However, my stubborn personality type means I always have to give it my absolute all.

Because of this, I’ve spent days writing scripts, editing videos, and digging out old photos. I just want my final EVA awards entry to showcase something that makes me and the family business proud. I am a finalist in the Family Business category, after all!

On top of the stage fright, what does a gal even wear to this thing? I’ve found a few great pieces on Vinted, but choosing the perfect outfit feels impossible. Although we run a family bakery, we absolutely love our jazzy clothes. You won’t catch us wearing any of that boring chef’s white stuff! I will dig deep into my wardrobe and see what magic I can find.

In the meantime, I will probably rip my hair out worrying about this presentation. To survive, I am chomping away on brownies and ice cream to get me through the current heatwave. Wish me luck, everyone!
