We have some absolutely thrilling news to share with you all. We just found out that we are finalists for family business category at the Enterprise Vision Awards! We actually discovered the news while on holiday, and we still cannot quite believe it.

The last few years have tested our industry to the absolute limit. Cocoa costs alone skyrocketed by 400%, while packaging and ingredient prices soared alongside them. When you run a family business, you cannot easily escape these difficult times because you live and work together. That reality makes this massive achievement feel even more special to us.

We originally started this business to raise our children together and enjoy the flexibility of working around them. Over the years, nearly every single member of our immediate family has stepped in to help us grow. Bean Daddy’s mother actually created our original recipe, which we adapted into our signature brownie. Today, she still bakes with us and handles weekly deliveries alongside Grandpa Bean. She is a phenomenal baker, and we still run every single new product past her.

We cannot wait to attend the glamorous EVAs ceremony in Blackpool later this year. I am planning to go “Full Shirley Bassey” with a sequinned gown and a feather boa (of course I am).
