What a whirlwind it’s been here at our family bakery this week – and we’re only halfway through!

We kicked things off with two amazing weekend events. Wyken Vineyard Farmer’s Market and Diss Carnival were both huge successes. We completely sold out at both in just two hours! It was brilliant to see so many friendly faces and connect with our lovely customers. We didn’t bring enough stock, so it was an early night for us – but totally worth it.

We had a blast and can’t wait for the next event. There’s nothing quite like sharing the love of our family bakery with the local community.

On Monday, we attended the Velvet Magazine Food and Drink Awards. The evening was magical, set in a stunning location. Although we didn’t win this time, it felt special just being a finalist. We were nominated in the Food and Drink Hero category. This nomination was to celebrate the work I do around female entrepreneurship and mental health in the industry. We’re proud to raise awareness and support others through our family bakery journey.

Later that same day, we received more exciting news. Our family bakery is a finalist in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2025! We’re competing in the Family Business of the Year category for the second year running. It’s an honour to be recognised again, especially among so many inspiring businesses. We’re ready for the glitzy final!

Back at the bakery, we’re in full swing preparing for Father’s Day. Orders are already leaving the bakery and many more are being packed. We love seeing your reactions to our creations.

Thanks for being part of our story. Our family bakery wouldn’t be here without your support. Onwards and upwards!
