Where to even begin with this…

Bella Scarr you absolutely smashed it this weekend as the Producer of the Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival 2024.

The calibre of the celeb chefs, the masterclasses and demos were incredible. The atmosphere was electric and it was so uplifting walking around seeing so many people enjoying themselves. The independent traders totally bought their A game and made East Anglia proud. What an event!

Having been a lifelong fan of Michelin Starred chef Tom Aikens, it blew my mind when I found out he was one of the chefs I was going to be interviewing on the Main Stage at the festival.

I’m not going to lie, I was INCREDIBLY nervous beforehand. Live presenting is Russian Roulette at the best of times, but when cooking food is involved… that’s a whole different layer of “scary”.

Thankfully, it all went very well and I made him laugh. As soon as you’re “in it” your brain is thinking at a thousand times per minute and you don’t have space to be nervous. He was one of 4 chefs I interviewed on Saturday.

Also a huge thank you to Brownie’s Angels for holding the fort and bringing the sequins this weekend whilst I was busy compéring and Bean Daddy was back ate HQ baking.
