We are so excited to reveal that we have been accepted to join the Buy Women Built community!

My journey into learning more about this amazing and uplifting community began when I was asked by Alison Rose (CEO at the time of NatWest) to come to dinner to discuss the struggles I’d faced as a female entrepreneur.

Around the dinner table was some of the most incredible and inspiring businesswomen. One of those faces was Sahar Hashemi (founder of Coffee Republic). The findings from the evening were to help shape the Rose Review, which Alison Rose was collating on behalf of the government and Natwest.

Whilst at dinner, Sahar spoke about female entrepreneurship and how she’s pledging to make a difference. Sahar founded the Buy Women Built community, which seeks to shine a light on female founded businesses.  It has a directory of female founded businesses (that consumers can reference) and also includes a platform for these female founders to converse and advise one another.  It’s proven a powerful resource already for me and I can’t wait to see where this takes us.
