We are wholesale cake suppliers with UK wide delivery!

It’s hard to believe that it’s only 4 years since we began etching out our ideas to start our own business. Originally our business plan centred around having a mobile cafe selling brownies and coffees. At the time we had just one flavour (Triple Chocolate) and a bucket load of dreams!

Little did we know what lay ahead for us! After launching our mobile cafe at Bury St Edmunds station at the end of January 2020, our dreams were shattered when a deadly virus started sweeping the globe. We had not option but to close the hatch of our converted horse trailer for good and think on our feet. The brownies had always sold well, so we decided to develop a few more flavours and try and do some doorstep deliveries during lockdown.

Thankfully this proved to be a HUGE success. Almost immediately after advertising the brownie deliveries on Facebook, we had a full diary.

How did we go from mobile cafe to wholesale bakery?

At the same time that we started our doorstep deliveries, our wholesale business began. It was a complete fluke. One day I was lost in the Norfolk countryside and stopped at a post office to ask for directions. The Postmaster was so kind and helpful, I gave him a box of brownies as a “thank you”. He called my number on the card inside his box and asked if we’d be interested in supplying the post office with wholesale. Naturally we were over the moon as we didn’t know quite what the future held for us. We jumped at the chance to supply them, and they are still customers of ours to this very day.

Wholesale brownies to wholesale cakes was a big leap for us!

Just over a year ago, a cafe that we supplied wholesale brownies to asked us if we would be able to extend our range to include cakes. Being the perfectionists that we are, we were nervous about taking the leap.

Over the Christmas break of 2021, we worked really hard throughout to create some cakes that we were seriously proud of. We presented them to our wholesale customer and they were delighted with the results.

Since then, we have extended our range even further to include retail products as well as even more cakes. We deliver our wholesale cakes all over the UK to cafes, bars, children’s play centres, pubs, restaurants, distilleries and more.
