As soon as the kids go back to school, everything cranks up at BATB HQ as we start preparing for our busiest period! It’s also the time when we resume our events after the summer hiatus. Today we’re back in Diss Market Place with our buddies @harrishogroast and @florencoscoffeetrailer. It feels like a life time ago since we were last there, so we’re very excited to see lots of lovely faces. Next weekend we have 3 events running at the same time including our beloved @aldeburghfood festival and Lopham Farmer’s Market.

Bean Daddy has also been busy hitting the production kitchen like there’s no tomorrow and I’ve rather unfortunately had to gobble up all of the creations (for scientific reasons obviously). We are so excited about the flavours we’ll be releasing over the next few months. October is sorted, but if there’s something in particular you’d like to see in our November box, please send us an email.

It’s not all brownies and rainbows I’m afraid.

We’ve recently received another blow as Royal Mail look set to be striking again. There will be another two day strike on 30th September and 1st October. For us, this means we lose 3 days worth of business as we prefer to give a 2 day buffer before a strike. The reason we like to do this is because it means your products aren’t stuck in a sorting office for a prolonged period of time. Our brownies have an amazing shelf life. However, it’s always our intention to get them to you in the freshest condition. If you decide to freeze or refrigerate your brownies to make them last longer, that’s fine. We always endeavour to get them to you as fresh as possible.

Need brownies through the post during the strike period?

Our best recommendation is to send early! No one ever complained about receiving brownies through the post in advance!  Our last recommended posting date is 28th September, so if you need something arriving over that weekend, please send as early as you can.

A business like ours really relies on Royal Mail. We have had a wonderful experience and generally find it’s the best service. We’ve tried them all (hahaha). If you’d like to send brownies through the post, please click here to see our range.
